EnableMath gives you the tools to prepare for or to master algebra. It works because it makes practice productive. We learn to play an instrument or a sport through practice. And we learn math through practice. But that practice has to be productive, it has to be adapted to every student as an individual. So
log in and get started.
- Select the assignment you want to work on and click the Start button.
- We take you first to the step-through example so that you can learn how to solve the problems. Use these buttons to step-through the example just the way a teacher does in class. Read or listen to the Student Guide. And, be sure to try the example with different values by clicking on the Wheel. Many examples have several Points to show you how to do different forms of this type of problem.
- Now, click the Problems button to start practicing. We choose each problem based on your progress. We give you immediate feedback on the answer. Don't worry about missing a problem, figure out what you did wrong, concentrate, and get the next one right. Your assignment is finished when you reach mastery and the green progress bar is filled in but you can go back to it anytime for more practice.
- Math is a visual language and we built our concepts to help visual learners understand them. Click the Concept button any time and play with the values using the Wheel. Use the Student Guide for suggestions on how to play with the concepts. Math is about practice and, it is about understanding.
- After you have mastered your assignment click on the Lessons button and choose the next one to master.
