ENABLEMATH QUICK START
EnableMath gives you the tools to prepare for
or to master algebra. It works because it
makes practice productive. We learn to play
an instrument or a sport through practice.
And, we learn math through practice. But
that practice has to be productive. It has to
be adapted to every student as an individual.
So, log in and get started.
- You will see an assignment from your teacher
or you will be asked to select one from the Table
of Contents. Just click on the START button.
- The Assignments View lets you pick an assignment
from those made by your teacher or you
may pick your own from the Table of
Contents.

We take you first to the Problems. We choose
each problem based on your progress. We give
you immediate feedback on the answer. Don’t
worry about missing a problem. Figure out what
you did wrong, concentrate and get the next one
right. Your assignment is finished when you
reach mastery and the green progress bar is
filled, but you can go back at any time for more
practice.
- If you are struggling click on the Examples tab.
Read or listen to the Student Guide and then step
through the problem. Listen to the narration of
each step. Then change the variables with the
slider and step through the problem again until
you understand the process. Many Examples
have several points to show you how to solve different
forms of this type of problem.
- Math is a visual language and we built our concepts to help visual learners understand them. Click on the Visuals tab and try changing the values with the slider. Read or listen to the Student Guide to get suggestions on how to play with the visual.
